PDO Explorer (Case Folder Operations)
PDO Explorer displays the contents of the case folder in a tree view and lets you perform file operations on the spot.
Display (icons, indentation, etc.) is controlled by file name, hierarchy, and extension, and by selecting a row you can specify the target file/folder and execute basic operations like copy and move, as well as specialised operations via the right-click menu.
1. Screen Layout
- Tree view area
Folders and files under the case folder are displayed in a tree. - Top icons (UI elements)
From left: 1. Back — return to the previous directory; 2. Up — move up one directory level; 3. Refresh — update the list; 4. Open case folder in OS — opens the case folder in Windows Explorer.
2. Basic Operations
- Click: select target
- Double-click: open with default app
- Right-click: shows available operations for the selection (greyed-out items vary by file type, folder, or multi-selection)
* After any operation, if an output file does not appear in the list, press the Refresh icon at the top.
3. Right-click Menu
The right-click menu consolidates frequently used patent-work operations: open in Chrome (PDO browser), open in OS, convert to PDF, OCR, and more. See the "Right-click Menu" section for details.
