Proxy Settings

Configure communication settings for connecting to the RN-IP server and for translation features.

1. Proxy and Port

Three options: "Automatic (recommended)", "Manual proxy", "Direct (no proxy)".

"Automatic (recommended)"
Follows the default Windows or environment proxy settings. Use this in most cases.

"Manual proxy"
Select when you know the proxy server hostname and port for your corporate network. Enter the proxy name and port number manually.

"Direct (no proxy)"
Connects without a proxy. Useful for home networks that do not use a proxy, or for isolating whether a proxy is causing a connection error.

2. TLS (SSL) Certificate

Three options: "Default (recommended)", "Specify CA bundle", "No verification (not recommended)".

"Specify CA bundle"
Specify a PEM, CRT, or CER certificate file. Use when your corporate network requires a specified certificate. Cannot be saved if no file is specified or the file does not exist.

"No verification (not recommended)"
Connects without verifying certificates. Reduces security; avoid in normal use.

3. Save Settings

Click "Save / Update" after entering settings. A completion message appears on success.
