Tab Buttons (Chrome Tab Control)

The "tab buttons" displayed at the top of the control panel are synchronised in real time with the tabs open in Chrome. Instead of clicking the small tabs at the top of the browser, use the large buttons on the control panel to switch views comfortably.

1. Basic Operation and Sync

  • Switch display: Click a button to instantly switch Chrome to the corresponding tab. The button for the currently viewed page turns red, making it immediately visible.
  • Refresh: If you close or open tabs in Chrome, press the "Refresh" icon on the control panel to update the button list.

2. Organising Buttons

Buttons are arranged top to bottom. Long-press and drag a button to reorder them. Group frequently used materials at the top to keep things organised.

3. Right-click Menu

  • Close this tab: Closes the Chrome tab and removes the button.
  • Rename button: Changes the button label (the Chrome tab title changes at the same time).
  • Change button colour: Colour-code important materials to make them stand out.

4. Saving State

When pausing work, press the "Save" icon on the control panel. The current tab order and open page information are saved and can later be fully restored from "Restore Chrome Document Display".
